ElopementsYou might be eloping if you or your partner are in the military or dealing with health insurance, family planning or citizenship issues; because you want to have an intimate ceremony or a no-fuss event, or perhaps you're just ready to make it "official."
Whatever the reason, I'm glad to help couples elope with a special and memorable ceremony. From a private moment in the park to a family-centered occasion in your home, you'll get to experience joy and meaning in any form your wedding takes.

Process and PricingMy fee for a standard "Make It Official" elopement ceremony is $350. A simple civil service similar to what a Justice of the Peace might provide, sample wedding and ring vows are included, or you are welcome to write your own.
I've officiated private ceremonies in my office, or at locations such as Look Park, Childs Park, and Smith College's Capen and Happy Chace '28 gardens. Generally just the couple and perhaps 1-2 witnesses attend. "Heart to Heart" ceremonies are perfect for event venues with a small number of guests, or if you're including a reading, ritual or other personalized touch. Ranging from $750 to $1,000, I will offer a quote after our free consult. I've conducted larger elopement ceremonies at the Inn on Boltwood and the Deerfield Inn, Quonquont Farm and The Boylston Rooms, as well as in couple's homes and at various locations throughout Western Massachusetts. My standard fee is for Northampton, MA; mileage rates apply to other locations. Elopements always include signing and filing your marriage license. |
